Frequently asked questions

What is the correct institution code (formerly BRIN number) for my school?
The number we need for your registration is your institution code (formerly BRIN number) (2 numbers and 2 CAPITAL letters) and your branch code (formerly BRIN branch number) (2 digits). This is the number with which you are registered as a school. On the DUO website, you can see with which number your PO or VO school is registered: https://tinyurl.com/y6n6dzrn.
If your school has only one location, the last two digits are two zeros (00). If you have multiple locations/branches and are a VO school, each branch normally has a separate branch code. You must submit a separate application per branch. You also send the number of students per branch/location for which you are submitting the application.
If you have multiple locations/branches and are a PO school, check with your administration whether you have a separate branch code or if your location falls under the main location.
